This is Mrs. Schmid's third year serving as the counselor for kindergarten, second, and third grade. She grew up in Atlanta, attended St. Thomas More School, and graduated from Marist School. Yasmine earned her B.S. in English Education with an ESL Endorsement from Florida State University, taught middle school language arts in Denver, Colorado for two years, and returned to school to earn her M.A. in School Counseling from Wake Forest University. This is her fourth year working as a school counselor and her sixth year of experience in the classroom. She and her husband, who is a graduate of Paideia School and is also an educator, love to travel, cook together, and work in their garden. As of now their only child is their very large and quite old cat Henry, who also enjoys spending time in the garden.
